Natural Settings Pools, Spas and Water Features is a custom builder specializing in high end residential pools. Our expertise centers around natural rock and water features and ngaive or vanishing edge pools. However, regardless of specialization, we provide the same care and expertise to smaller and less customized projects.

I have been in the pool industry for 19 years. My first four years were spent learning to construct, supervise and design pools. This is a requirement of all licensed pool contractors.

I learned my trade by actually constructing pools. This first hand experience with the construction process give me an advantage over many contractors in that I understand the process of designing, constructing, managing and supervising all aspects of the project.

Working with Clients
When we begin a job, the first thing I do is to personally meet with the clients. We review the location for the pool and the style and architectural features of the house. I also consider landscaping and natural features of the property. I work with the clients throughout the entire process to make sure that all the details meet their satisfaction.

When meeting with customers, I determine what they are looking for and listen carefully to what they tell me. This is extremely important for time spent for designing the over project and providing the customer with a beautifully completed pool or spa that they can be proud of and one that live up to our name - Natural Settings. I design, bid and supervise each job. I am always available to my clients. I work with the home owner throughout the entire job.

It generally takes about three months to complete a job baring any unforseen problem with exotic imported materials or weather or inspection delays. We make every effort to pin down as many details and features as we can at the beginning to help make the process as easy as possible and eliminate forced decisions. I will always repeat important points in the decision making process.

Design Awards
In the last 15 years, I have won over 60 design awards from the National Spa and Pool Institute (NSPI). NSPI is the national professional organization of pool contractors and is responsible for establishing guidelines and standards for swimming pool construction codes. They have recently changed their name to the Association of Pool Spa Professionals.

I personally do the design work and supervise the construction on each project we do. I pay careful attention to safety along with the design and asthetic considerations.

Materials
Our company uses on the best available equipment and products in the construction of each pool and spa. We guide clients to what fits them best by giving them the pros and cons of available products.

The natural materials I we select for each project are distict and unique and are key to creating beautiful award winning pools. I also create the waterfalls that are incorporated into our projects. Our waterfalls are considered distinctive and outstanding. They are often the key to clients selecting us to build their pools.

The surface materials we use are the top of the line. Materials range from pebble teck or pebble sheen for all tile components. Tile work is a beautiful features but can add additional time to completing a project.

Getting Started
We schedule initial appointments and other follow up meetings to cover the design details. I do everything on velum paper so it can be easily changed as adjustments or modifications are made to the plans. We go voer all products, surfaces, equipment, materials and the layout for the project. We design everything keeping in mind convenience for our clients making the systems for the project easy to operate and care for. With remote remote house controls and computer programming owners can be far away from their home and turn on the spa for heating so that by the time they arrive the spa’s temperature will be just right.

Estimates
We provide clients with a complete and thorough bid. The bid is firm unless the client asks for addition thing that have to be added on. We are not mass producers. Generally there are no additional cost for things that we don’t have control over like hard rock excavations.

Other Services
We offer a pool service for our clients to help keep their new pools clean and sparkling. While we have a service agreement, clients are not bound or locked into a contractual situation. We service the pool once a week and bill monthly for the service. We clean the pool and provide the necessary chemicals and other materials that are required. It is a “no worry” service so our clients never have to be concerned about caring for their pools and spas.

Warranties
There are a variety of warranties, depending on the materials. These range anywhere from two to five years. Each product and piece of equipment is different.

Quality
The majority of our clilents are very satisfied with the final outcome of their projects and the work we do. Because of the high quality of our work we have very few problems after completing a project. We design our pools and spas to be low in maintenance and eaisly cared for.
